Frost Equity to Booth the Annual City of STEM Event in Los Angeles

The Frost Equity Initiative team hosted a table at the City of STEM and Los Angeles Maker Faire event on April 12th, 2025, 9 am-4 pm at Exposition Park in Los Angeles.

Hundreds of youth stopped by our table to participate in our robotics exercises.  The Los Angeles Maker Faire was designated the Official Science Festival of Los Angeles County. Since launching in 2015, City of STEM has grown from its home at the Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey, to joining forces with Los Angeles Public Library, to being the biggest science program in SoCal.

This was a FREE public event held annually in April and hosted by Los Angeles Public Library and the Columbia Memorial Space Center.
